The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Chicago Blackhawks remain at the top of the odds to win the 2014 Stanley Cup at the online sportsbooks heading into November, but a hot start to the season has pushed the San Jose Sharks up amongst those betting favorites.
The latest Stanley Cup odds at Bodog have Pittsburgh leading the way at 13/2, followed by both Chicago and San Jose at 7/1. The Penguins got out to a 10-4-0 start in their first 14 games of the season, with Chicago starting 9-2-3 in their first 14 games, and San Jose posting a record of 10-1-2 through their first 13 games.

The new NHL season is just over a week old so it is still too early to start separating the contenders from the pretenders, but Bodog has recently updated its odds for winning each conference as well as this season’s Stanley Cup.
Through Tuesday night the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks are 1-0-1 in their first two games. While they started the season as favorites to win a second straight title, they are now 7/1 second-favorites on the most recent list at Bodog. Chicago is still favored to win the Western Conference at 11/4.
